About Us

Since our historic founding in 1898 at the City College of New York, more than 140,000 men have been initiated into our great Brotherhood. In 1989 ZBT became the first fraternity to abolish pledging and all two-tier membership statuses. Although initially founded as a Jewish organization, our Brotherhood focuses on equal rights, privileges and responsibilities for all brothers, regardless of background. We firmly believe in fostering an inclusive and supportive brotherhood to build our men into the leaders of tomorrow. ZBTs can be found in all aspects of life: business, entertainment, media, politics, tech, philanthropy and more. Take a look at some of our notable brothers over the years!

Our Chapter

Founded and Chartered in 2015, Eta Upsilon is on the younger side of all the ZBT chapters across the nation. However, what we lack in age, we make up for in size and accomplishment! Our chapter has worked tirelessly to receive multiple recruitment and academic achievement awards over the past few years, and we are proud to say that we currently have ~100 active brothers!
